(Heavy and lightweight), timber, concrete, and masonry design for structures of industrial, commercial/institutional, and residential buildings and steel structures of the entertainment industry. Combine excellent technical, analytical, and engineering qualifications with demonstrated achievements in acquiring and delivering projects on time and within budget. Highly self-motivated with excellent interpersonal skills. Qualifications include:

• Registered Professional Engineer in the provinces of British Columbia, Alberta, and
Saskatchewan.

• Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Washington, USA.

• Member of Structural Engineer Association of British Columbia (SEABC)

• Member of American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) and CISC.

• Comprehensive knowledge of S-Frame (S-Steel), Risa, STAAD, WOODWORKS.

• Comprehensive knowledge of dynamic analysis for seismic and blasting loads, such as RSA, RHA, and ESFP.

• Familiar with SAP2000, ETABS, ADAPT, SAFE, and ANSYS.

• Proficient in AutoCAD2017 and later, MATHCAD and MS EXCEL.

• Familiar with theme park codes such as EN13814/ASTM F2291/GB8408.

• Familiar with National Building Code 2020, Limit States Design of Steel Structures (CAN/CSA-S16-19),  North American Specification for the Design of Cold-formed Steel Structural Members (CSA-S136-16), Engineering Design in Wood (CAN/CSA-O86-19) and Design of Concrete Structures (CSA-A23.3-19).

• Familiar with U.S. codes like IBC, ASCE, AISI, AISC, AWS, ACI, NDS; and familiar with the world steel
structural codes such EU3 (EN1993-1-1, EN1993-1-8, EN1993-1-9, etc.), Chinese codes (GB50017, GB50009, GB50011, etc.).

• Strong knowledge of geotechnical engineering and widely experienced in designing shallow and deep foundations, and earth or liquid retaining structures.
